Curry Puff

前天半夜去ASDA的时候买了Puff 皮,然后昨晚炒了一小锅的咖哩马铃薯鸡。今天早上把puff皮拿出来后才发现原来我不是买到一块块的,而是一整大块的。老公后来帮我滚那一寸半到两寸厚的puff 皮。还好家里还有红酒,要不然都不懂该找什么来roll。从那么厚的puff皮,roll到大概不到半cm,然后切成几段,包了5 个。。。好像包太大了,吃一个都涨死了。很好吃哦!也可以试放其它的料(sardine之类的)。Puff皮应该可以到处都找得到,真的太简单了!

Two days ago we went to ASDA early in the morning (about 2-3am). Bought a packet of pastry, then cooked a pot of curry chicken with potato on the next day. This morning I just realised I have purchased a block pastry, not the one in slices. Luckily I still have a few bottle of wine at home, hubby used the bottle to roll and flatten the pastry. In the end, I managed to make 5 curry puffs! I am going to try sardine puff next time!







Sardine Puffs



食材:
鸡胸.......... 1 片(切粒)
马铃薯...... 2 粒(切粒)
大葱.......... 1 粒(切粒)
咖哩粉...... 适量
蒜米.......... 1 汤匙
胡椒粉...... 适量
盐.............. 适量
食油.......... 适量
水.............. 适量
Puff 皮...... 一包
面粉.......... 少许
煮咖哩做法:
1. 鸡切粒后先腌上盐和胡椒粉。
2. 热油后,先炒香蒜米和大葱,再加上咖哩粉,炒香为止。
3. 加水,然后先焖煮马铃薯至软。大概过了半个钟再放鸡肉进去煮。
4. 加盐调味。

包法和烤法:
1. 准备一个放puff 皮的平台(桌子也可以,但要先把它抹干净)。
2. 在平台上洒一些面粉,再把推薄了的puff 皮放上,切成想要的面积。
3. 把切好的四方的puff皮对折,然后用一只叉在puff 皮的三个周边按成条纹,缝合起来。如果叉会粘皮,不妨先把叉先占上面粉。
4. 现在的puff 皮应该像一个有口袋的小包包。把咖哩鸡塞入包包内,再用叉把袋口压成条纹,完完全全的把最后一个角也缝合起来。
5. 先把烤炉调热。3分钟后,以220度的热度烤puff。只要烤大概15-20分钟就行了。最好时不时检查一下。

Ingredients:
1 whole chicken breast, diced
2 skinned potato, diced
1 onion, diced
curry powder
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
pepper
salt
cooking oil
water
1 pastry block/ rolled pastry
flour

Directions:
1. Sprinkle some flour on a flat container/ on a clean desk.
2. Place pastry on top. If you are using pastry block, roll it and cut it into sizes that you want.
3. Fold pastry into half. Seal 3 other sides of the square pastry by pressing them with a fork. Leave one side unseal. You could sprinkle some flour on fork before use.
4. Now the pastry is like a small bag. Stuff curry chicken in the bag and seal the opening.
5. Pre-heat the oven for 3 minutes, place puffs to oven to cook for 15-20 minutes.
