This is one of the excellent places to see sunset in Akrotiri. The hill side looks like Grand Canyon in United States of America.

There is also a restaurant nearby. Some tourists spend their evening here waiting for sunset while having the dinner.

A platform was built purposely for viewing sunset.

Photography is all about individual perspectives. This is what I saw from my camera….

….and this is what hubby saw from his perspective….. photos were taken at the same spot with different style of photography.

Such a beautiful scenery! I am sure this place has the most beautiful sunset!

Souvenirs in Fira.

I didn’t know this belongs to Turkish and it is called ‘Turkish Eyes’ until a few friends told me so. Like Turkish, Greeks also believe this symbol could chase the evil spirit away.

Small alley in Fira. This place is full with shop houses and restaurants. Excellent place for shopping and also to look for Greek food.

This is Santorini’s main road, leading from to Oia.

There are two ways to get to Fira old port: either going down by a cable car (€4 one way), or by riding a donkey (€5 one way). We took cable car both ways going up and down the hill.
